We clear or bush hog the area
The best candidates are areas opened up by forestry mulching, brush hogging, or similar clearing work.
Brushworks clears the land and coordinates a 3-treatment TruGreen program designed to help reduce honeysuckle, invasive brush, and woody regrowth after clearing.
After the clearing
Dense honeysuckle and brush often block effective treatment. After clearing or bush hogging, the target areas are easier to reach, easier to evaluate, and better suited for a scheduled 3-treatment follow-up plan.
Why this exists
Forestry mulching and bush hogging make overgrown land usable again. But honeysuckle, invasive brush, and woody stems can still send up new growth if the area is left alone afterward.
Brushworks worked with TruGreen to build a 3-treatment follow-up program for the kind of regrowth we see after land clearing jobs around Cincinnati, Indian Hill, Loveland, Mason, Lebanon, and the surrounding area. It is meant to complement the clearing work, not replace it.
How the partnership works
TruGreen performs the treatment applications. Brushworks coordinates the program around the clearing work so the treated area, access, and timing are clear before the first visit.
The best candidates are areas opened up by forestry mulching, brush hogging, or similar clearing work.
We confirm the approximate treatment area and whether it can be accessed efficiently with standard spray equipment.
TruGreen applies the professional vegetation treatments to the agreed area on a scheduled 3-visit program.
Treatment mix
TruGreen told us this program uses a 3-product combination of Finale XL, Tahoe, and a surfactant. Each part has a different job in the treatment mix.
A broad-spectrum contact herbicide that targets actively growing green vegetation. In plain English: it helps knock down visible regrowth after the area has been opened up.
A brush and broadleaf herbicide commonly used for woody plants, vines, and invasive brush. This is the part aimed at tougher woody regrowth pressure like honeysuckle and similar brush.
An additive that helps the spray spread and stick to leaf surfaces more evenly. Better coverage helps the treatment reach the plant material it is meant to contact.
All treatment products are selected, mixed, and applied by TruGreen according to label directions and site conditions.
