Forestry Mulching Operator

The Role
Brushworks Services Co. is looking for a dependable Forestry Mulching Operator who can run equipment safely, communicate clearly, and take pride in clean land clearing work.
This is a field role. You will be operating forestry mulchers and support equipment on wooded lots, creek lines, trails, hillsides, farms, commercial sites, and overgrown properties.
What You’ll Do
Operate Equipment
Run forestry mulching and land clearing equipment safely and efficiently.
Own the Jobsite
Follow scopes, protect property, manage debris, and leave sites looking professional.
Maintain Machines
Complete daily checks, clean equipment, report issues early, and respect the fleet.
Represent Brushworks
Communicate well with customers, teammates, and leadership in the field.
What We’re Looking For
- Heavy equipment experience — skid steer, track loader, excavator, dozer, mulcher, or similar.
- Good judgment around slopes, wet ground, utilities, fences, structures, and customer property.
- Mechanical awareness — you do not need to be a full mechanic, but you should notice problems before they get expensive.
- Reliability — show up, communicate, and finish what you start.
- Professional attitude — we work hard, but we do not run a sloppy crew.
Nice to Have
Forestry mulching experience, land clearing experience, CDL, chainsaw experience, basic maintenance skills, and comfort working around rural properties are all pluses.
If you have strong equipment experience but have not run a forestry mulcher before, we still want to hear from you.
