Site prep from us means the vegetation is cleared and mulched so your grading or utility contractor can start. We’ll say up front what belongs to another trade.
Why mulch it
Traditional clearing can mean burn piles, multiple mobilizations, hauling costs, and soil disturbance that complicates SWPPP.
Forestry mulching removes vegetation and leaves a stabilizing mulch layer—no hauling, no burn piles, reduced soil disturbance, and faster site readiness for survey, grading, or utilities.

We operate with Best Management Practices that align with EPA Construction General Permit expectations for sites disturbing ≥1 acre (or part of a larger plan).
Slope-sensitive clearing, mulch for cover, access planning; coordinate with GC/engineer on silt fence, inlet protection, and stabilization sequencing.
We help flag potential constraints and direct you to Ohio EPA resources for isolated wetlands and related permits/401/404 questions (we are not the permitting authority).
OSHA-informed procedures for site clearing and chainsaw/brush work; trained operators, PPE, delineated work zones.

Working on an active site
You know who is on site, what area we’re in and when it’s done. We work around the other trades instead of on top of them.
We walk the site against your plan, confirm the clearing limits and protected areas, and price the scope.
Our trucks haul the machines in to the staging area you give us. We check in with the superintendent before work starts.
Marked work zones, PPE and a crew member watching the zone. We phase the work around survey, geotech and utilities.
Vegetation mulched in place and left as cover, BMPs protected, and the area ready for the next trade.

Ask for a written scope that states debris handling, finish expectations, mobilization, exclusions, and the next contractor’s handoff needs.
Pricing
We quote a fixed bid or a unit price per acre once we know the limits, the material and the access. Most commercial scopes need a site walk first.
